You have likely heard this expression before.
The idea is that you are selling results and solutions, not the actual "thing".
Sell the sizzle not the steak. The hole, not the drill, etc.
The benefit of the benefit. (that one goes deep!)
You might be guilty of selling the "object or thing", and going too fast towards a purchase. You'll scare potential buyers off along the way.
